This Farm Seller Agreement applies to farms and sellers who create or maintain a listing on Iowa Farm Finder.
- Seller Responsibility
By creating a listing, you agree that you are responsible for the information and products associated with your listing.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information about your farm, products, prices, availability, and location.
- Legal Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that you are legally permitted to sell every product listed on Iowa Farm Finder.
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licenses, permits, registrations, inspections, certifications, labeling, or other requirements that apply to your products or business.
You agree to comply with all applicable federal, Iowa state, and local laws and regulations.
- Food and Product Safety
You are responsible for the safety, quality, handling, storage, packaging, labeling, and condition of the products you sell.
Iowa Farm Finder does not inspect, certify, approve, or guarantee the safety or legality of your products.
If a product requires a specific license, inspection, certification, or other documentation, Iowa Farm Finder may request evidence of compliance.
- Accurate Listings
You agree not to:
- List products you are not legally permitted to sell.
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Advertise products that are unavailable without clearly stating their availability.
- Misrepresent the origin, quality, certification, or characteristics of a product.
- Orders and Customers
Customers may submit order requests through Iowa Farm Finder.
An order request does not guarantee a sale. You are responsible for accepting or declining requests and communicating necessary order details through the platform.
You are responsible for fulfilling accepted orders accurately and providing the products agreed upon with the customer.
- Payments
Unless Iowa Farm Finder specifically states otherwise, customers pay sellers directly for products.
You are responsible for collecting any applicable taxes and complying with applicable payment and tax requirements.
- Customer Information
You may only use customer information received through Iowa Farm Finder for legitimate purposes related to the customer’s request or transaction.
You must not sell, misuse, or share customer information for unrelated purposes.
- Reviews
Customers may submit reviews about their experiences.
You may not create fake reviews, manipulate reviews, threaten customers because of reviews, or attempt to improperly remove legitimate negative reviews.
- Photos and Content
You must have the right to use photographs, descriptions, logos, and other content you upload to your listing.
You grant Iowa Farm Finder permission to display this content on the website for purposes related to operating and promoting the platform.
- Listing Review and Removal
Iowa Farm Finder may review listings and may approve, reject, suspend, edit, or remove listings that violate this Agreement, our Terms & Conditions, or applicable laws.
We may request additional information or documentation when necessary.
- Prohibited Products and Activities
You may not use Iowa Farm Finder to advertise or sell products or services that are unlawful, prohibited by our policies, or otherwise not permitted on the platform.
- Responsibility for Disputes
You are responsible for resolving disputes with customers concerning products, orders, payments, pickup, delivery, refunds, product quality, or other transactions between you and the customer.
Iowa Farm Finder may assist with platform-related issues but does not act as the seller of your products.
- Suspension or Termination
Iowa Farm Finder may suspend or terminate your listing or account if you violate this Agreement, our Terms & Conditions, or applicable laws.
- Agreement
By creating or maintaining a farm listing on Iowa Farm Finder, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Farm Seller Agreement.
